One-third smaller than the SOMNOscreen, the new SOMNO HD provides excellent signal quality with a resolution of up to 4 kHz sampling rate per channel with up to 70 channels & 20 hours of recording duration, reduced number of cables thanks to built-in sensors for improved patient comfort.
The  high-resolution touch screen allows easy and intuitive operation. In addition, signal and impedance monitoring can be carried out directly on the display at the bedside.
Intelligent Connect

In addition our Home Sleep Camera is a innovative solution for synchronous video in an ambulatory setting – especially where reimbursement demands a video e.g. for paediatric or adult ambulatory  polysomnography. With this, synchronous video may be required, but one can’t have online recording due to network or location restrictions.

Sleep Services

We have seen a continued growth in demand for sleep services across the NHS, but the absence of a parallel increase in resources leaves many sleep and respiratory departments struggling to deliver services within the defined timescales. In December 2019, there were over 9,000 patients waiting for a sleep study (N.H.S. monthly diagnostics data 2019-20). 

There is an ongoing and growing media interest in sleep disorders, and while the benefit of improved awareness of sleep disorders is welcomed, this will further increase demands on services going forward. Most departments are not adequately staffed, many are not properly equipped, and costly breaches of diagnostic waiting times are not uncommon. In some cases, studies are performed but remain unreported causing delays to initiation of therapy. 
Innovative solutions are being trialled in several centres. Integrated care pathways have been established in other specialities and sleep diagnostics are under evaluation for suitability of service delivery via new care pathways. Early outcomes are positive, with indications of improvements in service delivery costs and patient experience. It will be some time however before final outcomes are known. 

While these novel approaches may improve service delivery in the future, the current situation remains challenging. Most departments face at least one speedbump – or bottleneck – in sleep diagnostics. 

S-Med Is responding to this challenge with the introduction of a range of services designed to support every department deliver first class sleep diagnostics to patients. We recognise that the bottlenecks will differ between departments, and we will provide flexible solutions that meet the needs of all.

Domino Analysis Software

As the user of a SOMNOscreen System, you will appreciate the Automatic Analysis and Reporting of the DOMINO Software with its ease of use, speed and flexibility.
The DOMINO Control Panel is the key to the Software. From here, all sections of the Software can be accessed, (from left to right: Measurement Initialisation, Data Transfer, Record Real-time Data and Analyse Studies, Montage-Editor, Global Settings, the optional Patient Database and Scheduler) with a single mouse click.
Immediately after Data Transfer and within 2-3 Minutes the recording is automatically analysed. Naturally, it is also possible at this time to manually edit and classify the study. The detected events are marked with colour-coded boxes in the Raw Data. Double clicking a point in the upper window takes you to the required time period in the Raw Data Window.
Interesting Events such as Min. SpO2, Max. SpO2, Max PTT increases, Max. PTT drops, Max HR increases, Max HR acceleration, Longest Apnoea, etc. are also automatically classified and displayed when the measurement is first opened.

The system provides a comfortable, quick and easy means of editing the recordings. All events are colour coded and displayed in the raw data view.

Open Architecture:
